Beasley Broadcast Group's Star 102.7 FM Pioneers HD Radio Multicast and Data Services at NAB 2005

Las Vegas, NV - Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBGI), a large- and mid-size market radio broadcaster, today announced that its Star 102.7 KSTJ-FM will broadcast the first public demonstration of an HD Radio™ multicast on a commercial FM station. The demonstration will take place during the annual National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas April 16 - 21, 2005. Star 102.7 KSTJ-FM, providing the 'Best of the 80's and More' in Las Vegas , has used HD Radio technology since late 2003, and was the first commercial radio station licensed to broadcast using HD Radio technology in Las Vegas.

Using the advanced features of HD Radio technology provided by Broadcast Electronics and iBiquity Digital, Star 102.7 FM will broadcast a special made-for-NAB digital multicast program channel alongside the station's existing main analog and digital channel, as well as separate data streams containing program associated data and two real-time traffic alert systems and other navigational content. The multicast programming will be received by a Kenwood receiver, which will display program associated data -such as song title, artist and other "now playing" information. Listen to both of these channels at NAB at the Broadcast Electronics booth (N1802) and the iBiquity Digital booth (N2437). The real-time streams of traffic information will be coded by event, such as an accident or freeway jam and its location, as an overlay to vehicle navigational systems and can be seen at the iBiquity's booth (N2437).

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, George G. Beasley, remarked, "This is the first ever broadcast of multiple programs and data services simultaneously. We are thrilled with the opportunity and look forward to sharing this exciting new technology with our listeners. HD Radio technology allows us to reach a larger audience with more timely and entertaining content while providing potential new outlets for our dedicated advertisers. The new technology is a major step in the development of AM and FM radio, and we look forward to utilizing its abilities on all of Beasley's stations."
