DaySequerra Introduces Market Area Monitor for HD Radio™, Analog and Internet Broadcasts

West Berlin, NJ - DaySequerra, a manufacturer of leading-edge broadcast equipment, will
unveil at NAB next week its Market Area Monitor (MAM) concept, an innovative data collection system, that offers radio broadcasters a unique set of resources for local, regional and national HD Radio™ confidence monitoring and competitive analysis.

DaySequerra’s MAM system design offers robust diagnostic measurements for any HD RadioTM
station (AM or FM), whether an independent operation or part of a national multi-station group.
Using a relatively low-cost, single rack-space MAM receiver, small and large operations alike
can record a complete snapshot of any station’s HD RadioTM output including audio SNR, level
and time alignment as well as audio program samples, along with cataloging that station’s full
HD RadioTM data payload.

While the system can function as a QC platform for station groups to monitor all their regional
HD RadioTM and multicasting signals, DaySequerra’s MAM system breaks new ground withunattended monitoring and cataloging of competitive stations’ output. Furthermore, the nation’s largest multi-station groups can cost-effectively monitor several hundred stations using multiple MAM receivers (with one receiver in each radio market of interest) and analyze all of themarkets’ data from virtually any location using a PC-based web browser software. Additionally,
the DaySequerra MAM system provides monitoring, cataloging and sampling of legacy analog AM and FM radio and Internet-streaming broadcasts.

“We’re very proud to unveil this important breakthrough for HD Radio broadcasters. The MAM is a powerful tool for broadcasters big and small in markets of any size. The ability to catalog and record any AM or FM radio broadcast signal unattended in any market and analyze that data
from virtually anywhere you have Internet access, offers a significant competitive advantage”
states David Day, President of DaySequerra. “To be able to drill down into your signal or your
competitors’ broadcast in this detail provides broadcasters with the real-time tools they need to
stay competitive locally and on a national basis.”

Harris Broadcast Communications Division, the exclusive reseller of DaySequerra’s MAM and
will have an ongoing MAM demo at its Central Hall location (Booth# C807). Day Sequerra will
also demonstration the system at its booth (N1800).
